4.3 Authentication - Log in

Controlled access to the Web program requires a login or authentication of the user.
The authentication parameters are login or username and password. Users must enter the data on the login page with the username and password assigned to them.
If you do not know these, you should contact the Help Desk.
After correctly logging in, the system determines the user profile, enabling the functions and access to the data configured for the relevant profile.

when selected it activates authentication and enabling for the Catalogue. If the login fails the application returns an error message. If the login is successful, the user accesses the program's Home Page.

when selected it opens a new page containing the interactive training (e-learning) module of the IVECO Web Spare Parts Catalogue. To be able to access the interactive training module, you need to know your User Name and Password. If they are not known, you should contact the Help Desk.


The first time you log in or if 60 days have passed since the last time you changed password, after correctly logging in, you, the user, must change your password.
To change your password, you must key in your new password and key it in again for confirmation.
After clicking the "Save" button, if the password you entered is correct, the user home page is displayed.

The password you enter must satisfy the following rules:

- it must contain at least 8 characters
- it must contain at least one alphabetic character
- it must contain at least one numerical character
- it must not contain more than 3 consecutive characters that are the same as the previous password
- it must not contain more than 2 consecutive characters that are the same in any position
- it must not contain the username as a part of the password
