7.9 Search by Exhausted/Substituted Items

This function lets you identify the substitutes or substitutions for a spare part. From this page you go to search by drawing. The function is activated from the Other Searches menu of the Home Page or from the functions menu on the search pages, selecting Exhausted/Substituted. The displayed page asks you to indicate the drawing code in the field of that name, if known, otherwise select from the list accessible with the icon alongside the code field. After stating the code, the program updates the description of the drawing.

A followed by the specification of the drawing code, the Check button checks the existence of the code. If successful, it enables one of the View Substitutes or View Substitutions buttons according to the stated drawing. After selecting the enabled button, the table containing the detailed substitution data is updated

	the push-button checks the drawing code is correct; if successful it enables the buttons to display the substitutes/substitutions
	button enabled if the indicated drawing has been substituted, it activates the detailed data view of the substitutions
	button enabled if the indicated drawing substitutes other drawings, it activates the detailed data view of the substitutes
icon	action
	icon to display the list of Exhausted/Substituted drawings

The table of substitutions displays the code, description, type of substitution for the substituted drawing and code, description, quantity and type of substitution for the substitution and the date of the substitution.
It is possible to save the substitution list to file on the local workstation, print it out and access the search by drawing of the stated spare part.
