7.8 Search by Product Family

This function is used to identify the vehicle's Graphic Table starting with the Product Family. It is activated by selecting Product Family from the Other Searches submenu on the Home Page or from the functions menu on the search pages.

On selecting Search by Product Family, the search page asks you to enter the Code in the field of that name. After selecting the Check button you continue by specifying the drawing code, if known, or accessing the displayed list with the icon alongside the drawing code. It is possible to indicate the drawing too with the description field. If a code is indicated the description is automatically updated

	the push button checks the Product Family code is correct; if so, it enables entering the drawing code. The following selection checks the code/description of the stated drawing and, if successful, it enables the PIC indication

	icon to display the drawing and PIC lists

The search continues indicating the PIC, if known, or selecting it from the list displayed with the icon alongside. After indicating the PIC, if it corresponds to more than one VP it is necessary to select the VP from the list of the VPs matched with the indicated PIC. On the contrary, the VP is automatically updated.
Selecting the Check button again updates the vehicle's main specifications (PIC, Model, Drive, Wheelbase).

	the button checks the existence of the PIC; if successful, it enables continuing with the search
	it activates the display of the vehicle's technical info sheet giving the specifications and optionals (including complementary items and CCM)
	it activates the display of the matching Personal Note, the push button is enabled when there is a note matched with the drawing
	it activates the display of the lift of vehicles to which the drawing applies
	it activates the display of the substitutes or substitutions for the indicated drawing, the push button is enabled when the drawing is exhausted
	it activates the display of the details of the regenerated part, the push button is enabled if the drawing is regenerated
	it activates the display of the alternative drawings to the current one; the push button is enabled if there are alternative spares to the chosen one
	it resets the fields on the page to permit a new vehicle search by Product Family

To continue, select the Search push button and access the list of graphic tables for the indicated spare part.
