7.4 Search by Drawing

This function is used to access the vehicle's Graphic Table starting with a drawing. The function is accessed by using the mouse to select Drawing from the "Search by" menu of the Home Page or from the functions menu on the Catalogue search pages.

Selecting Drawing activates the search page that asks the user to specify the code/description of the drawing. It is possible to enter the code/description in the corresponding field if known or enter its prefix and access the drawings list by selecting the icon alongside. The list contains the drawings with the code/description corresponding to the specified prefix. The user selections the drawing in the list by double clicking the code with the mouse.

To continue indicate the PIC, if known, in the PIC field or access the list of PICs matched with the chosen optional, selecting the icon alongside.
After selecting the Check push button, the PIC is checked. If it exists and more than one VP corresponds to the chosen PIC, the user must select the required VP. If instead a single VP corresponds to the indicated PIC, the VP field is updated by the program on selecting the Check button. The PIC check also updates the vehicle's main specifications (Model, Drive, Wheelbase).

	it resets the fields on the page to permit a new vehicle search by Drawing
	when selected it permits accessing the list of models and chassis frames to which the drawing can apply
	enabled if the drawing is regenerated, it permits accessing the list of regenerated drawings
	enabled if the drawing has alternative spares, it permits accessing the list of alternative drawings
	enabled if the drawing has a matching personal note, it permits accessing the note

Clicking on the Search button of the search page leads on to select the Graphic Table.
